Oh is this the junk they rented to sail around NYC for the Apple launch? I’ve never seen any pictures from that event. Who’s the guy in the striped shirt? Selling ice cream?

Is there a Chinatown in Nueva York?

  4. Lizzie says:

    Yes there is, Kwai.

    Thank you.

This picture is very cool. I had personally dismissed the story as more fantastic Beatle Lore. I think it’s also interesting that Neil has taken on the Richard DiLello look.

    Thank you. Neil is righteous…
but, isn’t he the father of Pete Best’s half brother?
So, how did Pete’s alienation do anything but give him the best seat in the Beatle House? I hope I’ve gotten it wrong…

How come Pete didn’t get to sing Nowhere Man on the 1968 Christmas Record?

  8. Kwai Chang says:

    …because he can’t play the ukulele…

    was Mona just a nickname?

  9. Guus thanks for the link. Ron Kass talked about this trip in his book. And about Klein’s BS allegations later on that Kass stole $$ from Apple during this junket. Allen Klein, gee what a great guy.
