Always great to see a Pete Best-era shot in colour.
I suppose John next met Gene at the Sweet Toronto show, looking ever-so slightly different to how he looks here, though just as munted.
What a find! I’ve only ever seen one black and white photo of John and Paul with Gene.

funny to see the Beatles in “fan” mode… They all had a lot of admiration for Gene Vincent.
