12th September 1963, E.M.I. Studio Two. Photograph by Norman Parkinson. Recording session for “Don’t Bother Me” (Remake), “Little Child” (Remake), “Hold Me Tight” and “I Wanna Be Your Man”.
Thanks Mr Horse, those boys sure had a good work ethic, talk about working fast.
I want to hear the original version of “Don’t Bother Me”.
The remake is great…but, how do we know the original isn’t great too?
Until I hear,
please, don’t come near…
just stay away.
One of my favorite early Beatle songs, it’s a pity Hari didn’t drag it out for Japan, then again maybe it was for the best, I still shudder when I think of what he done to Roll over Beethoven on that tour, a caberet version that would have been the envy of late 70’s Elvis.
