Happy Thanksgiving to Tammy, wherever you are, to all you Americans, and to the rest of the world, too!

I am thankful for all the joy this site has given me through the years.

  2. Alex of Bronx says:

Hey same to you Since 1963.
Nice sentiment and agree with you.
    Best regards from The Bronx

Let’s not forget Nelson Wilbury this day.

Hi everyone! I had a long Facebook/Messenger audio call with Miss Tammy the day he was going to his first Macca concert in Australia (not his first ever, of course, his first on this tour). He was doing fine and very excited about seeing his idol! I didn’t ask about here. I hope to hear from him in the near future. Hope everyone is doing well. Life has not been very easy: My brother and I moved in with our mother to take care of her. She has depression and dementia. Really hard to see someone deteriorate like that… On the bright side, I have been to many Beatle tribute band concerts and last week spent 5 days at BH Beatle Week, in the city of Belo Horizonte. It was fantastic! Bands from several countries, friends from all over. Merry Xmas and a Wonderful New Year to all my dear friends here!

  5. Sage Brush says:

Lizzie – Thank you for the information about Miss Tammy. So glad to hear he is doing fine. :O)

Sorry to hear the news about your mother……please Be Good To Yourself.

  6. Since 1963 says:

Thanks for the update, Lizzie. Positive thoughts to you and to Miss Tammy of course.

My cookies were changed (Ooh!) so my comment just now is ‘awaiting moderation’. I’m trying again with a different email address…

Glad to hear that Miss Tammy is well enough to visit with Paul; a tonic for sure. But I’m sad to hear about your mother. Life is what happens, of course.

Gary Crimble to all; I hope 2018 is much better for everyone concerned.

  8. Kathy says:

Thank you Lizzy for the update on Miss Tammy!! As long as he is alive and well, that’s all that is important.

    Merry Christmas friends!

  9. Since 1963 says:

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, Miss Tammy!

  10. Lizzie says:

Just a little note to wish all my friends here a wonderful 2018! I am starting to believe this blog is over, which is very sad, but I understand it takes a lot of time and effort to keep something of this quality going. I will still come here to say hi and I hope Miss Tammy keeps the blog up because there so many amazing photos and great info – it would be awful if we lost it for good! All the best from a beautifully sunny, hot day in Rio de Janeiro. I am doing laundry, washing dishes, caring for my mother, sorting papers to throw away – while my friends are at the beach – my glamorous life!

  11. Anonymoustill says:

I’ve been thinking the exact same thing, Lizzie. Hope not, but understand if it is. I’m glad we had it as long as we did and wish everyone the best for 2018 and beyond. Thanks everyone for making this site something to look forward to for all these years.

Has anyone heard from Kwai Chang? He dropped out before Greg did IIRC.

  12. MarkC says:

I will keep checking daily until the link doesn’t work.

    Happy 2018 everybody!

    Congratulations Sir Richard Starkey!

Ring out the old, ring in the new!

  13. mcarp555 says:

I pop in every other day or so as well, hoping to be pleasantly surprised. Happy New Year to one and all. Lizzie, why don’t you start a blog or website, just so all of us can at least have a ‘lifeboat’ to keep in touch with? And I agree with Mark – I’ll keep checking until it’s gone.

  14. Alex of Bronx says:

Great idea, somehow lets stay in touch…….

  15. Lizzie says:

We could have a private Facebook page, like the Scruffs have and I’m a member. There’s only seven of us there, but it’s a good place to communicate. I could call it Beatle Photo Blog Orphans! If anyone has any ideas, please post them here. I would be very sad to lose all of you!

  16. mcarp555 says:

Unfortunately I don’t do FB… But I do have your email, Lizzie.

  17. Since 1963 says:

Let’s just all migrate over to Sara’s blog. Many of us are already there anyway.

We are not orphans , we are just locating, We will be wandering and hopefully drag MS. Tammy along with us.

  20. Sage Brush says:

Miss Tammy……we are grieving…….Please Come Back!

What a gift this blog has been.

  21. Sara says:

I am also a regular visitor of Tammy’s blog. Did you all know that Paul read his sign in THREE concerts in Australia? How cool is that?

You all are more than welcome to come over to my little place on the web. It makes me very sad to think that The Beatles photo blog is no longer updating. However — I get it. It takes a LOT of time to keep a site going and it is all volunteer time. Sometimes realy life gets in the way of our hobbies.

All of you and Miss Tammy (who I loving call my sister wife) are always welcome to post. Unfortunately I have to moderate each comment because I have a racist that leave terrible comments if I don’t. He tries to leave them all the time and I just don’t approve them. I hate it because it slows down the conversation. But I can make an attempt to check for comments more frequently than once a day if I know a lot of people will be talking.

  22. mcarp555 says:

Lizzie, I just realized that this past Sunday was the 50th anniversary of you and Gayleen doing your backing vocals on “Across the Universe”. Congrats! What a moment that must have been! I’ll bet you remember it like it was yesterday.

  23. Lizzie says:

Yes, mcarp, it was 50 years ago – and it was a Sunday too! I do remember it, especially some moments like being on the same microphone with John… Thank you for remembering! I tried calling Gayleen but she was out all day with her husband. A mutual friend texted her saying I called. Regards to all my friends who still come to this blog like we do!

  24. Alex of Bronx says:

Like singing on the same microphone with John. Not too many people can say that Lizzie. Talk about a memory of a lifetime. Incredable.
    All The Best

  25. Lizzie says:

I know, Alex… Sometimes I can hardly believe it myself! When I listen to the song I wonder: how did this happen? A little girl from Brazil… totally “in love” with John… same microphone? He was on my right side, so close I couldn’t move or I would touch him (which is all that I wanted but didn’t dare, of course!). All my loving from a VERY hot afternoon in Rio. I’ve had two showers so far and it’s only 5:30! Carnaval starts today. I have to care for my mother and have several things I want to get done around the house until this country goes back to normal, Thursday next week! Love to all. <3

  26. mcarp555 says:

Sigh… here we are, a year later. I miss how this site used to be. Obviously nothing lasts forever, but what can I say that hasn’t been said already over the previous twelve months? Hopefully Tammy is fine and at least improving. Will he recover to the point of reviving this site? Or will we just find one day that it’s offline for good? It’s this comatose state that’s probably the most difficult to endure. Hello to everyone still popping in to see if there’s been any changes. We know who we are.

  27. MarkC says:

As the year(s) go by and we grow old and gray.

Everyone can meet over at Steve Marinucci’s Abbeyrd’s Beatles Page Message Board II web site.

I recommend you register right away and log in, then it’s easy to see which threads you have or haven’t read.

Steve’s claim to fan is he is a contributing writer to Billboard and and co-host of the Beatles radio show Things We Said Today heard weekly on, iTunes and Fab 4 But I’m the most impressed by his mention on the Blue-ray release of Yellow Submarine.

The site is a Goldilocks site, just the right size and it’s easy to post your own topic.

Let’s keep this site alive too! There’s too many memories here.

  29. Anonymoustill says:

I was hoping against hope that by the one year mark, there would be new content 😞. Like the rest of us, I’ll keep checking every so often. But it sure doesn’t look too promising. There are other sites and I’ve been a frequent visitor to most for quite some time, but this one was special. It managed to be not only informative and interesting, but fun. All things must pass, I guess.

  30. Mark Zappasodi says:

I, too, thought surely there would be new content to this post in less than a year. I am sad to see that that never happened. I had a private conversation with Greg last year and he assured me that “Miss Tammy would rise from the ashes”. I told him that I would pray for him. I’m not sure if he will be returning to this post but I believed him. Wishing Greg and all other Beatle people good wishes. Arise, Sir Ringo!

  31. Lizzie Bravo says:

Hi everyone! So… it’s been a year. I don’t know what to say. It doesn’t look like this blog will come back. Sad. I hope Miss Tammy is well! Haven’t heard from Greg in a while. I wonder if we should chip in and pay the yearly fee for the page so it stays up. Too many fabulous photos and info! By the way, Happy 85th to Yoko! All my loving from a three-showers-a-day Summer in Rio.

  32. Mark Zappasodi says:

Remembering George on what would have been his 75th birthday. Happy Birthday George. Thank you for everything.
