His best Quarrymen shirt!
The original songbook for McCartney had a tear-out poster of Paul wearing these clothes…but it’s a shot of him standing with the Rickenbacker bass…
(it’s been posted here before)
I’ve never seen this shot before.
Isn`t this blouse of his the same one he was wearing on photo session with The Beatles in April 1969??
Yes, Michoo. It was the Voyage of the Fritz session. Paul is wearing this shirt on the photos around John’s white Rolls-Royce Phantom. I wonder if he had the taylor take it out some.
I like this period of Paul’s beard. It’s from the same period as the absolutely beautiful photo of him holding Mary on the McCartney backcover – which is MY ABSOLUTELY FAV photo of him ever! That photo says everything about Paul and Linda!
Same shirt, tho it first appeard in Approx 1959, where Paul, John and George are photogrphed in the same shirts. Somewhere on this blog you can find the pic.
Never realized before that it was that Quarry Men shirt. He is really rockin’ it in this photo!
See these two other ones here:
