Awesome car – reputedly chassis #25 out of 100 made. The estate apparently still owns it. Can’t say I blame them for not selling as it would be a crime given its rarity and owner history.

Whoa!, well spotted! .. where would you start at Friar park?, the house?, the gardens?, the studio?, the garage? .. i wish it ould be opened, even just for a week a year for charity or something.
That picture of George is quite ‘sensual’ (am I allowed to use that word here?) anyway love the smile he’s giving the photographer. This must have been around 1995-96 aroud the time of the BEATLES anthology album because his hair is either pulled back into a ponytail or on top of his head – whatever it is he’s still cute, adorable, sexy, etc. (shall I go on but then we all have the same feeling for him righ?…LOL!)

I think George loved cars more than music. I wish the manuscript for I Me Mine was released in its entirety. The author states George went on and on about his motors in detailed detail. every car. What their engines and accessories were, etc. etc. Would be super reading for a gear head like me.
@ Since 1963 Do you know what other cars George had in his collection? I know he had a fondness for them and F1 and had friends in the racing community. I don’t know a heck of a lot about his personal collection, though. Agreed in that it would be great reading.
