Paul always went along with the kid thing whereas John flat-out did not like children and if you read his comments yrs later about how people would thrust their kids at the Beatles you would hear his resentment. Look at some of the photos taken with him and kids and check his face out, he’s really pissed off in some of them. Even George was leery of it. You can’t blame them though. John said from the time they walked out the door everyone, from the elevator man to the cops who were guarding wanted eother an autograph or a photo. Something! I guess it just got nuts after awhile. But John never was a kid person. John was a very, very moody person and although he did have a hand in Sean’s raising, the “househusband” bit was bullshit for the most part. In 1976 or 77′ he locked himself in his bedroom for a YEAR and refused to talk to anyone, including Yoko and Sean.
