To think that it would be called the Liverpool John Lennon Airport decades later..
My first thought too. Is there a road or public facility in Liverpool named for George yet? And when Paul and Ringo….um…depart the material world… and may that be a long, LONG, L-O-N-G time from now…I’m sure there will be more renamings.
Ever wonder if anyone has even seen 1% of all the photos of The Beatles ever taken? Truly a mind blowing thought!
Wasnt there roads named after all in the 80s!
I have postcards of such,all Liverpool 8
Yes, there’s John Lennon Drive, Paul McCartney Way, George Harrison Close, and Ringo Starr Drive in Liverpool. Now there’s talk of naming streets for Stu Sutcliffe and Pete Best!
