I believe James now has Linda’s pink mini, interesting to see the colour scheme of Cavendish in the late seventies, also Paul’s convertible black Roller is still present.

I love Linda’s car. I also thought – she wouldn’t be able to have a baby on her lap while driving now.
The first time I ever went to Cavendish, I escaped from a school trip to a museum and went there and it was painted in these colours.
I HOPE she wasn’t driving lol!
Steering wheel on the left??
I was there also in the late 70s while doing a JYA, and saw the colors also – oranges and pinks – not sure they suited the house – the neighbors probably weren’t wild about the color scheme either.
I’m glad that Paul was able to retain Cavendish Ave and not lose it to that woman.
I thought the same, but then I remembered that this is Britain..steering wheel on the wrong side! Sorry, on the right side….for me it is the wrong side, I guess I am not the only one here.
great car …. great lady!
Who is the person in the back of Mini? Can anyone see that? Has dark hair!! I want her car!!!!!! Yeah, that’s right about the steering wheel, but would she still be allowed to have the baby sitting on her lap even if she wasn’t driving? Don’t think so!!! Laws have changed everywhere re that…and seat belts!!!
That is so cool..love the car!!
Those twee colors really don’t suit that grand old London house. A bouncy castle maybe.
The colour of Linda’s car matches the colour of the McCartney rose! A hot, psychedelic pink.
If anyone has McCartney unreleased song “Blue Sway” he sings a faint line in there about the council people not letting him paint his door any color he likes anymore. This was recorded in the Summer of ’79 so it must’ve been this color scheme in the photos that did him in.
Hey Chris, i remember an Aussie music show that went to London to film, they went to Pauls house and when the interviewer saw the house exclaimed ‘What did they do to this house!!’ .. wish i had that footage
