Anthony was such a valued employee that he went and sold his story to the English tabloids not long after
layer upon layer…
Thanks for posting these. : )
He wasn’t the one sleeping in the Rolls was he ?
Any idea which newspaper and when exactly
Les was from a little village,in the south wales valleys.
I have photo’s of John’s white rolls royce, when les used to come home,
Many times he brought the car to the village.
To Mark Jones:
Any idea what happened to Les Anthony, is he still alive?
Regarding Les having sold his story soon after he stopped working for John, he did an interview for the defunct ‘News of the World’ sometime in May 1972 that appeared in two parts. I don’t think he made much off this one interview, and he set the record straight about who ended up in the back of the Rolls with John long before he left his wife Cynthia.
Les did a great public service by telling the truth of what really happened when John met Yoko at the Indica Gallery (Les went with John to that event) and by providing additional info in general.
