Also there on the Beatles Grammy 50 Year special was Olivia’s sister Linda Aries. She came and filled the seat next to Olivia when Dhani’s wife left or maybe moved over at one point. They showed Linda again one more time after that first camera passed over them in a 2 shot. She was seated very close by to Olivia on the other side of Dhani’s wife Sola or maybe it was 1 more seat over. That whole row personnel shifted a number of times.

How lovely to see Kyoko with her family! I remember her so well… What a lovely, bright, girl.

I never knew Ringo had such great looking legs.

Unless I was mistaken I didn’t see any of Paul’s children at this “do”? If this is correct it would be one of the few big occasions where at least one of them wasn’t present.. interesting.

Just wanted to say, I think Sean is really a class act. Very talented artist. The music he makes with GOASTT is absolutely original and really, I think, very artsy stuff (in a good way!). And he’s really one hell of a guitar player to boot. Not only that, but he represents both his Mom and Dad exceptionally well. God knows it can’t be easy dealing with people constantly asking about his Dad, who he hardly got to know (after all) and his Mom, who has had to bear the brunt of a lot of nastiness over the years. I mean, I know he’s got the money and all the good stuff that goes along with being John’s son, but still, it can’t be easy, either. Go ahead on wit yo bad self, Sean! BTW, all this (except the Mom nastiness and the money parts) goes for Julian, too. The show was amazing! Thanks for letting me vent. Peace. Whew!

Don’t worry Sean, your hand was never in the snow.
(A hole to see your older sister through)
“Cut piece” is when you pretend John’s kid is more important than Anthony’s kid…High, Mom! Mother Superior??? Does that mean I have an Aunt Inferior?
    Maybe!

The show was over for me the moment Adam Levine started to sing. My ears actually started to hurt. I turned the show off but did tape it. Maybe sometime I will watch it just for the “Fab two”!

Yoko was up and dancing, that was cool. Maroon Five I thought did real well.

Cyn and Julian. Absent and missed. I wonder why.

  10. I thought it was a wonderful show!

Btw., speaking of Ringo’s legs… He wants to be a Powerpuff Girl!!!

    What Michael said!

panning down from All My Loving to Moron 5 was BLASPHEMY – not even ONE song from Sullivan in its entiety?!! the only thing that saved that cursed Beatles tribute were the Beatles themselves at the end.

  13. BLJ says:

I enjoyed the show, I watched it twice.

  14. Mo says:

I totally agree Margo. I was disappointed in the show as a whole, but loved seeing Paul and Ringo together. And Joe Walsh rocks. But Levine — awful.
