Earlier this year Taschen books announced they were publishing a limited edition book of Kishin Shinoyamas photos of John and Yoko from 1980, since then i haven’t heard a word. Does anyone have any further info on this?, i’ve tried mailing Taschen with no response back.
OMG! There goes my money… I have not yet recovered from missing the Henry Grossman book… Sorry, Tam, I didn’t know anything about this.
Hadn’t seen this one before, great picture Tammy, thanks for posting
I remember hearing about the book, too, I think on Steve Marinucci’s Beatle
Examiner page, but then it fell off the radar.

“Limited Edition” USUALLY means that regular people cannot afford it. Why is it always about sucking the fans dry of their money?????
I am sooo excited! Yesterday I found out a friend who lives right near here actually OWNS the Henry Grossman book, and has invited me to his house to look at it. I am taking a box of Kleenex just in case I drool over it… He’s a teacher at the Catholic University, so I will try to be on my best behavior. And I totally agree with MarkZapp – these limited edition books are way outside of my budget. When I was young I wouldn’t care, I’d spend whatever it took, but now, facing my old age, I have to think twice. A pile of Limited Edition books will do me no good when I need to purchase one of those electric walkers, will it? I’d better keep the money! By the way, I send my love to all of you for Xmas and the New Year. You’re a fab group of friends! From yours truly melting in the Rio de Janeiro heat.
