Looks like a Warhol photo
I remember when this photo came out. Was this the one time John visited Studio 54 or am I just imagining that? I know he stayed away from that scene. Liza (who I met and was not friendly like she is in front of the cameras), said she was so excited… she just had to have her photo with John Lennon cause she never met him before….
Hi, not sure if this was studio 54, dont think John ever went there, maybe a private party of Andy Warhol?
I believe this photo was taken at Yoko’s birthday party that was thrown by Warhol.
great story about john’s partying in LA in the mid-70s in the current issue of Q, and his distaste for warhol.
