Hi Tam, great to see colour from the “dentist” interview done in Dec 1968 John was definitely feeling no pain that day (Yoko neither, probably)
Looks like John sported a pair of classic white Stan Smiths some years before converting to the all black pair (as seen in many photos from 1980).
the third photo took my breath away…
I thought this was from the dentist interview, but the colour threw me.
john loved his white sneakers. one of my proudest posessions is a pair of white “Spring Court” white canvas sneakers, (French manufactured) , identical to the pair that John wore in 1969, (and seen on Abbey Road cover… )
Yoko sure liked to show her legs didn’t she?
I think I see more than leg…
exhibitionist? nudist? liberated? sophisticated?
or, just a sincere artist?
Maybe, if we knew how many times she performed ‘cut-piece’, we could approximate the libido quotient.
@Stephanie: Yes, I remember reading about a reissue of the Spring Court “Abbey Road” sneakers in GQ magazine a few years back. They weren’t cheap.
