I wonder where this painting is today? Bob Whitaker has pictures of them painting this in a Japanese hotel room.
See the other pictures here: http://plasticonoblog.blogspot.com/2011/04/115-diferentes-pinceladas-os-beatles-e.html
George has gone right onto Paul and Ringo’s sides, cheeky!
Someone has it somewhere. Somewhere in Japan I think.
Another picture all four worked on was a poster for the Monterey Pop Festival in 1967.
I just love those pictures of them painting.
Thanks for these. : )
Ringo’s is pretty good isn’t it? Think Paul’s is my favourite… they’re all very different but very similar.
One of my favs and I too wonder where it is today. I like all of them but perhaps John’s takes number 1 spot for me. I think it works well as a whole piece. An art therapist should drop by and weigh in
John’s and Ringo’s look amazing. Especially John’s.
This is really shameless, but on my blog I’ve done a post on this painting and I scanned in most photos from Robert Whitaker’s book, Eight Days A Week. If anybody would like to see them, here they are:
Includes a MUCH larger photo of the painting itself, which is good if you want to see detail.
