I find it very strange that John was still hanging out with Klein as late as 77 especially when you consider the venom aimed at him in Steel and Glass in 74.
Klein more then anything else I believe is the reason why The Beatles split up.

I think they were going to sign some documents in Manhattan to officially disolve The beatles.
John signed those documents in 1974 at Disneyland in L.A.

…about the pic…Klein looks like his pic was glued to the window of limo.

It was to sign for the 5 million dollars Apple agreed to pay ABKCO to piss off for good.

John & co also had to sign documents in January 1977 to dissolve the management deal with Klein.
Linda McCartney later commented on the large amount of money Paul had to pay to get rid of someone he never even wanted managing him in the first place.

Klein never comes off too well in any of his dealings, but judging by everything I’ve read, the Eastmans don’t come off too well in the Beatles breakup either, despite their subsequent successful management of Paul.

I guess you are right about the Eastmans too. Didn’t the old man send his son to a Beatle meeting which totally pissed off John, George and Ringo ?
I remember now Lennon also giving the Eastmans the business about changing their name from Epsstein, I don’t know if that is actually true or John just busting balls.
Bottom line though Klein was a dirtbag through and through. I believe he also screwed the Stones over also.
Klein would fit in well with todays society with all the greed and all.
