    To me that photo ‘IS’ The Beatles, it has all the elements to be an, or THE iconic Beatle photo.

    I think when it comes time to carve their images into a mountaintop, this is a serious candidate.

    Or as Kwai would put it, “Mount Beatlemore”?

    When I think of the Beatles I think of them looking as they do in this photo. Similar photos were picture sleeves for the first 2 Beatle 45′s my parents bought for me … ‘She Loves You’ (on the Swan label) and ‘I Want To Hold Your Hand’. How incredibly cute they were … and how smitten I was as a 6 year old and now as a 56 year old …. time so flies.

    Yes, almost one of the most famous pictures of them and one of the first images of them I remember . I had the famous picture on a school binder when I was a kid. This stuff is 50 yrs ago. For the record Ischie we are in the same boat, I am 57 yrs old but it has been a great run and it seems the Beatles were a soundtrack to it.

    @mcarp555…
    True…but, where is there a mountain that would be big enough?

    @Alex…
    If this is 50 years old…why does it still look new?
    (because 57 is YOUNG! I was born in 1960…feels new to me)
