Prob right, GPG, the Candlestick Park was more of an informal affair in the dressing room backstage.

What a *look* from Paul! I’d be staring right back at him.

The Beatles last press conference as a group took place in Seattle, Washington on August 25, 1966. There wasn’t a press conference in San Francisco, just a “taping session” with individual reporters.

  7. Kwai Chang says:

    So where is this?
    …and did they play L.A. in 1966?

Kwai: Press conference was at Capitol Records HQ on August 24 and yes, they played LA in 1966 – at Dodger Stadium on August 28. Thanks for confirmation of Seattle being the final press conference, Sara.

So they spent five days in L.A.?
    I wonder what that involved?
    (Disneyland? NO WAY)
