    LOL… the captions. You’ve got to love the captions at this site.

  3. A Car And A Room And A Room And A Room says:

    Norm: “Come’ ead you lot, it’s homework time for you load of college puddins”

    @A Car And A Room And A Room And A Room…
    I wonder if Brian was emboldened by the Norm-character…or, if the movie made him even more timid. Either way, I realize that there was probably a conscious effort by the writers/Lester to make the manager stereotypical. So, your quote reminded me of how Norm is a stern ‘father figure’ in his portrayal of the manager. I just wonder if Norm made the road harder to travel for Brian.
    (Notice there was no manager in HELP! Was that a request from Brian?)

  5. I just remembered, wasn’t there a fey old queen character in AHDN? ‘Cheeky’?

  6. A Car And A Room And A Room And A Room says:

    Indeed, Tam.
    John: ‘Gear costume’
    Fey old queen character (sizing him up): ‘Swap?’
    John: ‘Cheeky!’

  7. I should have that dialog on the tip of my tongue.
