I think this might be later – 1971 or even 72 – Ringo had shortish hair throughout most of 1970 – unless it was taken at a session at the start of the year around about the time of his appearance on Laugh-In
This is supposedly from the BB King sessions recorded in London in June 9 – 16 1971 at Olympic and Command studios. Hair wise it fits that time frame quite well. The “Blindman” – “Bangladesh” period.
How truly lucky we are to have Hyacinth Francine (One of the hidden ‘Date’ mistresses of The Beatle world, in particular the solo years) grace us with her company, especially on a Friday which i know to be her salon day, when she has a Toni perm and blue rinse put through her back hair. I knew this pic would erect her antane, and get them twitching. To paraphrase Paul “When two great dates meet, it is a humbling experience”. Don’t fret tho Datey, you’ll always be the Bea Smith of Dates around here, all others are mere Noleen Burke wannabes.
