This is from the (UK)TV special that saluted George Martin. It is actually December 1969. I wonder if this still exists in video form.
‘Fraid it’s gone, Markzapp. It was shot for Yorkshire Television.
“George Martin- With A Little Help From My Friends”. A shame it’s gone. It included footage of Ringo singing Octopus’s Garden – from the actual year of release! I imagine if George Martin had his own copy we’d have seen it in anthology. Still…maybe someone, somewhere – a collector – one day…!?
