I can’t remember seeing the guitar (?) John is playing in this pic…althought something about it is familiar. Anybody know about it?
That’s the Vox Kensington prototype. He later gave it to Magic Alex.
And what was the deal with Ringo’s drums at some parts they were as shown at others minature drums ………………
Photo distortion: It makes Paul look much larger than everyone else, especially next to George.
Ringo used multiple sets during the filming (which took place over several days), including a child-size kit (suggested as possibly a ‘Trixon’). And a silver-sparkle Ludwig with 24 inch kick drum, as well as his standard 22 inch Ludwig set in Oyster Pearl with ‘Beatles’ logo drum head.
The promo was shot on just one day, Friday, 10 November 1967 at the Saville Theatre on Shaftesbury Avenue in London. The building’s exterior is still the same although the interior has changed a lot.
Now, do you know why I love this blog???
Thank you, EVERYONE!
Me too, Kwai. Thanks, John!
