   With guitar tech Alan Rogan at a guitar shop in Chelsea in the early 90s – George was being filmed for that Fender guitar documentary where he plays the solo from Nowhere Man and displays his hand painted Fender

   At Norman’s there is a bulletin board covered with polaroids of famous customers…George’s has been there since mid 80′s…
   Thank you, A Car…I don’t live in the Valley anymore so it’s been a while since I was in there…

   George was always doing his “Fonz” impression.
   That was a good documentary, ACAARAARAAR.

   I’m sorry, what!?!? Does anyone know where to find the footage of George playing that solo for the Fender doc?

   ya can find that clip of him talking about Rocky (his painted Strat) on youtube..at least when it’s not being taken down.

   I was born and raised in LA and I have yet to visit Norm’s. But, then again, all the super cool shops are no longer around..Guitars R Us, Voltage, Bass Centre, etc.
