George seems to have a determined look in his eyes… “Go on then, ask me a question, any question”
Nice threads, George!
His suit looks very Savoy Truffle meets The Fool
Or, did he get it from the baker street giveaway?
… and from Favid Drost (as John called him) at Wembley straight on to Walrus session at EMI.
Wow!!, they really did fit about four lifetimes into one, it’s dizzying the amount they accomplished in the time they had.
i’m so old i saw those two interviews on british tv! (by the way, i’m sorry i haven’t posted much lately. i have been working my behind off – and i own a fairly large one – and travel on friday to see paul in belo horizonte and goiania. my friend and i are staying at the same super fancy hotel paul is going to be in bh… i feel like a semi-senile teenager! my love to all on this most delightful blog xx).
Hi Lizzie, it should be our mission to age disgracefully, and be the oldest teenagers in the nursing home
certainly miss tammy! my dear late friend tommy – who was an honorary apple scruff like me – used to say we had to put together a sgt. pepper’s lonely heart’s nursing home. there we would share our collections with friends and talk about the boys until our last day on this earth!
Enjoy the concerts Lizzie! Maybe you’ll run into Paul at the hotel bar
Lizzie…that is a frighteningly good idea!
Sign me up Lizzie and hopefully we will all last way past when we’re 64 and in good health too. lol
Hmmm, i’m going to have to think about this, good on paper, reality could be a little less so. I’m not sure i’d want to spend my twilight years, imobile in a Jason rocker recliner, next to a flatulant, and incontinent Ringo fan. The thought of having a deluded, window licking George fan trying to steal my ural, and medication gives me the creeps. I think i’d like to be isolated with all the Paul fans, who’s medicinal needs are more along the lines of the organic variety (The Matron was a great guy).
thinking about this a little longer, if i can’t even imagine myself on a boat cruise with a bunch of fans for fear that i might jump in the sea, maybe the nursing home idea isn’t THAT good! there are the loveliest kind of fans, yet there are also those who you want to run for your life when you see them. i will be around a lot of both kinds this weekend… miss tammy, you are a riot! it’s not even 8 in the morning and i am laughing!
