“We haven’t done a bloody thing all day…we’re so sorry…”
(when I see this picture, that’s what I hear)
Sort of looks like his White Album photo # 2
I think of the vintage car scene from Titanic
Fab photo… would’ve made a memorable album cover!
It was a magazine cover at some point in the mid-1970’s
That’s right, Nick, although it was Paul only and an alternate shot. “Crawdaddy” from 1974 if I’m not mistaken.
Yes, I think it was “Crawdaddy” I have it packed away somehwere…..
It’s the vegetarian version of Goat’s Head Soup.
The alternate photo on “Crawdaddy”‘s cover was for March or April 1976, just as “Speed Of Sound” was released and Wings’ tour was about to start. Also, “Song Hits” Magazine (the same year)had a cover story using the same photo but with Linda also included.
Pics however were apparently taken in Nov 1973 by David Bailey in London.
About time you stuck your head in Hyacinth, we’ve been floundering and flailing with date precision, I knew you’d be able to sort a few out.
