Nice double pairing, Tam – top) Scene at 6:30, Granada TV, Manchester 14 August 1963; bottom) Treslong Tv studio, Holland 5 June 1964
I love first photo. It looks like a scene from the movie “Help!”
In the first one Paul’s and George’s hair look quite similar in the length, etc. to the “With The Beatles” front cover.
FROM AN NME INTERVIEW:
George: “I was just thinking…what about a song like Little Richard’s ‘Bama Lama Bama Loo’?”
Paul: “George, you just write daft songs. As I was saying, I liken writing a rocker to painting an abstract…”
I was thinking exactly the same, Michael.
I love these-especially the first shot.
