Lovely shots Lizzie, I have downloaded quite a few of the polystyrene photo shoot pictures. Robert loved to give the boys costumes or “props” to inject some fun into the the sessions and having met the sadly departed RW I must say that he was always the best Beatles photographer in my view.

A lot of the shots from this same 1965 session where the Fabs are dressed up, holding LP covers, etc, etc were taken by another photographer called Bill Francis for Fabulous magazine. A lot of his stuff gets misidentified as being taken by Robert Whitaker.
