    To me Paul looks uncomfortable in this photograph. And I think the reason is, Paul feels vulnerable with an instrument he doesn’t know in his hand. That’s why he learned so many instruments, because he has to. That’s just my take on this photo.

    then the sitar has to represent the calculus of it all.
