And look at that sweater. More material for the forthcoming photography book, “Paul’s Ode to a Sweater.” There will be a special chapter on sweater vests.
And for those wondering (there must be one or two out there?) Yes the footage from the “Disneytime” special still exists (only in b/w though) and Tammy and I had a “moment” when we both saw some of it. Waited at least 25 years to see this holy grail of Beatle video!
Yes, thanks to Miss Hyacinth Francis for sharingt this footage with me, it was one of those grasp at the pearls moments, especially for a high end video collector like Miss Tammy. There are still a few hidden gems out there i hope i live to see, not the least being the infamous colour super 8 footage from the ‘after party’ of Paul’s birthday in Sydney 1964, in high end collectors circles this footage is known (quite aptly) as ‘Mr Whippy v’s Waterworld’.

You know the old saying about married couples starting to look a bit alike? In the middle photo, Linda has the perfect Paul look on her face.
