This is George getting prepared for the Fabulous magazine photo shoot by Dick Francis in October 1964 – each Beatle acted out a character from the Dick Whittington pantomime. It appears on the cover of January 9, 1965 issue.
I thought John was dressed as Aladdin? And could someone explain why Ringo was in a bear costume?
You’re right, Alice, they each played a different pantomime character for the photo shoot.
… and I think the bear costume was meant to represent Goldilocks.
