I thought after a couple of drinks, John would have been cutting himself out of the curtains…with scissors!
“Un Spaniard SOY!!! No me gusta las cortinas!”
Very clever how Mr. Harrison is (somewhat) hiding his bow tie!
ringo is just about to say something…
What does that mean Kwai ?
“Un Spaniard Soy – no me gusta las cortinas “
Un Spaniard soy = I am a Spaniard(as in A Spaniard In The Works)
no me gusta las cortinas = I don’t like the curtains
The curtains in the picture are Beatles curtains. I’m not sure what you should do with the decorator that brain-storms this kind of cleverness…but, the Beatles never seemed cheap to me. I mean, why not set up some pink flamingoes on the lawn, too!
Can you say SELTAEB?
Thank you! KC
Cheers Kwai !
I just wondered because my first car was a Ford Cortina – and towards the end of its’ career things were often flapping off of it !
…like side mirrors ….door handles…. paint !….
Hey!, don’t be dissin’ the pink flamingoes, Miss Tammy has just had her self designed summer range of fashion offense delivered, and it mostly features pink flamingo prints (i do believe Lizzie has seen the photos, and can confirm my avian pink splender). Sgt Pepper should have had a pink flamingo on the cover
I have nothing but love for feathered equivalent of the pink panther…in its life-like polyvinyl chloride iteration. Not to neglect the John Waters angle of it all…but, they are divine creatures. I wonder if the eggs are pink, too…
Speaking of inclined slanted angles…I wish “Edie, the Egg-lady”(Edith Massey) would have done a cover of I Am The Walrus…from the crib…in the trailer…near the pink flamingoes.
So, I love them pink flamingoes…
and to a slightly lesser degree,
I love John Waters(Father of Shock Value as hobby)
Trivia: I think one company(family business) made all of the pink flamingoes through the early 80’s…so, when do the baby chicks hatch?
I can swing this back around to a Beatle link, besides my utter prone devotion to Edith Massey, she covered ‘Big girls don’t cry’, and i believe MPL owns the copyright of that song, AND my very good friend Miss Karen met Divine in the early eighties, and discovered Divine was a massive Wings fan. See, everything is related
i have indeed seen your beautiful outfit, miss tammy, and can testify that it is gorgeous! i also love pink flamingoes… i used to have a couple when i lived in the us. and my daughter always loved divine and john waters, so i got to see those movies with her.
