… and Do the Oz!
God save Oz ALL
I always wondered why the rubber gloves?
Thank you very much for sharing this, I think it’s become my new favorite John picture. : )
Nick: I have often wondered the same thing…
The gloves are probably a statement against the establishment…
it won’t be long before johnny liddon upped the ante…
how ’bout a button that says…”charge rockefeller with murder”…
a hybrid of chess and poker where the stakes are over the top was abrew
Paul: “And for this next number, if you’d all just clap your hands…”
John: “CRAP YOUAH HANDWSH!!!”
Paul: “And stamp your feet…”
John: “SHTAMP YOUAH FEEUHT!!”
I am not so sure that was the reason but it’s sure is “odd” any way.
that’s the ponly pic I’ve ever seen of John wearing gloves…
EXCEPT not only, but also
(and Unfinished Music No.1)
I can’t spell with these gloves all over my hands
Hi, there is video i think from earlier in the day when John and Yoko were at one of her exhibitions, one of the pieces had a plastic (not rubber) glove dispenser, you can see John take these clear gloves out.
There is also video. I think it might be from “Power To The People” or from the Imagine film. Not sure, my memory is fading……..
