    that’s for sure, cara! dear kwai, every time i hear that song i remember i changed my nickname because i heard john singint it… (from betty to lizzie). does that mean john unknowingly gave me a name?

    Two in the pink, one in the stink! :-)

    I can’t remember….is this the mansion in Laurel Canyon where they first took LSD a year later? Also this house is where the Red Hot Chili Peppers recorded a couple of albums.

    @Lizzie…
    now there’s a beautiful omen
    (my mom’s name is Betty. She is very sick. She has cancer for many years, now. I am here at her home…she is in hospice…seeing you have her name made the room light up for me! Thank you…I needed it)

  12. lizzie says:

    oh kwai, that’s so lovely! please give your betty a big hug from me… i went to see my uncle and godfather at intensive care yesterday. he is also living in a hospice but now he has pneumonia. it doesn’t seem like he’ll last long. i just held his very cold hand, stroked his thinning hair and talked about things he did for me when i was young – like sending me US$5.00 in the mail several times when i lived in london – and that was a good amount back then! i made him smile. i’m at an age (61) when people are getting sick and dying all around me, it’s so sad. i send you a big hug too, hang in there, my friend, and give your mother all the love you are capable of. if you need to talk, i’m on skype as lizziebravo and my e-mail is lizzie.bravo@gmail.com. i’m also on facebook and on their chat and gmail chat. (let’s just say i’m easy to find, easy like sunday morning)

  13. Kwai Chang says:

    I love you, Lizzie
    (there’s a tear in my eye)

  14. lizzie says:

    i love you too. xx

    Now you guys are making me cry!!! Hospice is a wonderful group of people. They were so kind to my uncle before he passed away (brain cancer) last year. Give my love to Betty as well. Sing a Beatles song to her.

  16. Kwai Chang says:

    Thank you beautiful Beatle people…
    I was in need of compassion…
    (this IS the right place for that)
