I took this photo. It’s one of my favorites of him that I took. His camera guy Charlie was kind enough to hand Paul an enlargement I had printed for him. Later on that night (I was at the same hotel as Paul & entourage – it’s almost as good as going to the concert, you meet so many people!) he told me Paul liked the photo and remembered me from ATU. This was in Belo Horizonte, I believe it was 2013. Actually I just came back from BH Beatle Week, where I had a blast. I am rather sleep deprived, but I should recover soon. By the way, people who have gotten their copy of my book are raving about it, not only the photos and design, but the writing. I am a happy (old) girl!

This one is a full page in my book, in perfect quality.

    Are you teasing us?
    (Please, stop it some more)
    TEA – ZING!!!
    Nice job, Lizzie

I wish some of you lived nearby to help me. I must REALLY be mad… signing (with each person’s name..) over 400 books and hand delivering or packing and mailing them all by myself is proving to be quite overwhelming!

    I love this photo!

I knew this was a lizzie foto the moment I saw it.

  9. Tammy says:

All credit to the magnificent Lizzie, for this glorious photo :-)

I wish i was there to help you, i’m a good stamp licker.

  10. Lizzie says:

My dearest Tammy, I had never been called magnificente before… I feel good! It is a glorious photo, hard to believe I took it with such a cheap camera (which I still have…). I wish you were here too! Regards to all from an oven, aka Rio de Janeiro.

Unlike Lizzie, who has been in the divine presence, some of us live more vicariously. It’s a thrill to me just to have stood in that exact same spot on more than one occasion.

  13. Nick D. says:

I sent you an email about buying your book but I haven’t heard back from you?
    Nick D.

  14. Lizzie says:

So sorry Nick, I am going crazy here. Somewhere around 400 books that I sold on pre-order which I am signing, wrapping in bubble wrap and placing in a box to take to the post office. By myself. I also have to make the labels. The good part is that I am getting rave reviews from everyone for the writing, the photos and the design. Happy New Year to all! (I will look for your e-mail now).

Hi Lizzie, thankyou again for sharing your incredible, wonderful stories. Congratulations on the success of your book, I hope one day you might get the chance to produce a translated version and publish internationally. I would buy it for sure. Regards from Sydney

  16. Lizzie says:

thank you stephanie. i have several chapters already translated. problem is i will only be able to get back to the translation in february. right now i have to finish signing and wrapping books (i believe i still have some 70 to go…), finish several jobs for my boss (who has been nice enough to let me mail the books first), then undo 64 years of life and pack in boxes since i am moving at the end of january. i keep thinking i am wonder woman, but i definitely am not. regards to all from a VERY hot rio de janeiro (yesterday was 44.4 celsius).

I just read your post again, mcarp555, and you had me laughing: I have been in the divine presence! Yes, it is it’s true, yes it is it’s true. Sometimes I myself have a hard time believing in everything that happened to me: seeing those four guys almost every day… it sounded “normal” at the time, but it definitely doesn’t sound normal now. Happy New Year everyone!

  18. Alpha Bitch says:

Congratulations on your book Lizzie! The rest of the world is like a bunch of young, fired up horses at the starting gate waiting to see the beautiful evidence. Best of luck to you as you pack and move and and unpack in your new space, wherever it may be.

  19. Lizzie says:

Thank you Alpha! I have sold just over 460 books now, all by myself, with not a word to the local press yet. I should be finished with the work for my boss by this coming Wednesday and then it’s time to get rid of stuff and pack! I am very moved by the wonderful things people have been writing about the book, both by e-mail and on Facebook. I feel I accomplished my goal, since many of them tell me they felt like they were there with me, and that’s exactly what I wanted!

  20. Alpha BItch says:

    Dear Lizzie,

Best of luck with your move, I know the trucks are either at the curb or on their way to your new place. I envy those who now have your book in their hands and hearts and understand that the rest of us will just have to wait. Not easy, but the anticipation is very keen and sweet.

Have some heaven on a Sunday.
