this photo was taken on april 19, 1967 at paul’s house by a friend with my instamatic camera while i (that’s my arm) am taking some black and white photos of him with my father’s minox camera (the photos turned out fab) and he is holding one of my photos i had copied for him. he is saying “it’s a spy camera, you’re all spies these days” because the minox was used by james bond in his movies at the time. i think that’s his “handle with care” badge. great day to remember!
So, Lizzie you’re an apple scruff then? You should write a book.
i am writing a book, anonymous… it’s just taking so long because it’s a huge amount of work – too many photos and too many diaries and letters to go through! so far it’s looking good.
Ahhh, i was wondering where this was for sure, i thought those were Paul’s pavers but the old car sort of threw me .. man oh man Lizze, do you know (i’m sure you do) how amazing it is that you had contact with the Beatles like this, i can only dream what it was like to meet and talk to John .. thanks for being so generous with your stories and pics over the years, anyone who has sung on Across the universe is a friend of mine
Mrs. Bravo, you did not only had contact with the Beatles but also were able to provide backing vocals on “Across the Universe”. Thanks for all these photos that have been going public on blogs like this.
