Great shot. Taken where/when in the 80s? Looks like it pre-dates 1988 when Ringo dried out.

I know Ringo looks mid turps, but ‘something’ tells me this was for the launch of Ringo’s first All starr cd, or video .. Hari looks 89/90 here to me.

Poor Billy ! You know, George tried everything on this planet to help him. He gave him work, took care of him financially for all of his contributions….even a piece of the royalties I believe from “All Things Must Pass” but his demons were many. A lot of “Beatle people” had a similar reaction. You are around people like George and the spotlight is so bright it’s hard to adjust when it’s over, Look what happened to Mal Evans. Even though he was more or less a servant to the Beatles, the perks he got from his association with them were hard to live without once they broke up.I believe Apple kept him on salary for several yrs but, it was “the life” that he missed. It was impossible for him to go back to being “normal” again. He left his family and went to LA were he was killed in a tragic circumstance. Once you’re involved with something so powerful like the daily lives of the Beatles or even one Beatle, it’s hard to be normal again I guess.
