This is a rare photo indeed! I never saw this shot. Does anyone know what photo shoot this was taken from? Perhaps from the photo shoot in front of the Mirror inside Apple?

  17. Mark Pas says:

Zappy,,,luv this one! I believe they were searching for that old brown shoe,,,and nice to see dragon lady out of the picture! Anywhoo,,I wonder if Paul today looks back on these gems from Linda…and starts to daydream of a nicer fabber time….when Doctors made house calls….and gas was 28 cents a gallon,,,,and Dr Shock was the real deal…..and Boones Farm Apple wine was the drink of choice. Peace and Love man!

This photo shoot was seperate from the one with the mirror but very close to it. I don’t think an exact date has been put for this one. Linda McCartney took the photos from this session at the McCartney house in
London to promote “The Ballad of John And Yoko”/”OLd Brown Shoe” single. Photos from this session appear on the U.S. picture sleeve. There does not seem to be too many many photos that were taken on this day. The session with the mirror(April 9, 1969) is also partially at the McCartney home. That was a full-fledged photo session. The one here seems to have been a pretty quick one.

i thought the mirror snaps were taken at the madingley club. i did’nt know any pics were taken at apple that day. i know the pics of them with the white backround were taken at twickenham studios according to linda. love, a friend.

  23. Guus says:

It’s new to me that the mirror shots at April 9th were taken at Cavendish. There’s so much to learn at this blog. It is the Best!
