Umm, is that Bill Wyman with George?

  2. A Car And A Room And A Room And A Room says:

No it’s not Bill Wyman. the face looks familiar… over to the panel

  3. Kwai Chang says:

    His hairstylist?
    Marv Albert(Sports Anchor)?

  4. LeftyBass says:

My initial reaction was David Frost.

No idea who the other guy is but somewhere in my files I seem to recall this was tagged as “While mixing the Ravi Shankar & Ali Akbar Khan Apple album”. If correct would this be an Apple engineer or similar? I think this is probably August 1972. Never seen this pic in such clarity.. well done Tammy!

  6. derek says:

    Beatle George!

  7. mcarp555 says:

I believe it’s Phil McDonald, EMI (and later Apple) engineer.

  8. A Car And A Room And A Room And A Room says:

It’s definitely not Phil McDonald. Could it have been taken at the CBS Convention party, Hitachi? After George took off his jacket.

  9. Kwai Chang says:

    Attention, please.
Dr. KillGlare to I.C.U.(Eye See You) post haste.
He hasn’t been the same since the lawn-gnome stampede of ’71.
The cliquish wee folk hide from him and croon “When The Swallows Come Home To Friar On ‘Enley is a little dark and out of key”…
Or, to be cruel, they all join in for a chorus of ‘Layla’.

  10. Hitachi says:

It’s possible its at the CBS convention. I’m sure I first saw this pic in an NME or Melody Maker from back then but alas never kept any info on it, if it indeed had anything more than “George Harrison looking very Beatle like recently” or words to that effect that shed no light at all on the matter.

  11. Pistol finger and wink back at you Miss Hyacinth. You know me, if i can upgrade a pic, that’s my priority.

Datey, i’m not sure about that being a shirt, or the same one worn under that crimpolene monstrosity of a suit he was wearing, this kinda looks like a jacket?.

  12. Peterq says:

Could it be Tony Crane of the ‘Merseybeats’ ?

  13. A Car And A Room And A Room And A Room says:

    Not Tony Crane either

  14. MarkC says:

    Paul Rodgers?

  15. Kwai Chang says:

    Another guess:
Tony Sanchez(Up And Down With The Rolling Stones)
    (…or, equivalent)
