Hi Tammy! Looks like that middle finger is down. If so… Amaj7, but wow what a shot!
Finger down, but I’m guessing it’s an A7 … as in Twist & Shout, where it recurs so regularly. Could almost be a Dm, but we’ll never know. Love the overhead speakers!
It’s definitely an A7 chord rather than a Dm (ring finger on the 5th string.) Amaj7 is a different beast that would require an E flat note in the chord and there’s no way he’s playing that with his fingers where they are. Great pic regardless!
I think it’s an A7 too. Now we can go through the set list, work out which songs use A7 and maybe, or maybe not, work out what song John is playing…!
