I’ve always wondered what the Fabs were doing on a boat during the filming of HELP!, Datey, is this something you could put your finger on, and work out a possible scenario?.

I remember watching the several interviews in the special features portion of Help! and I believe I remember someone mentioning that they took a boat out to try to get a good scene of the statue coming out of the water in the end. I honestly could have just made that up though.
Can’t say definitively if this was for a (deleted) scene for the film. It might be just as Leah describes and the three went along to observe during some filming down time. Note one of their persoanl BOAC travel bags nearby – possibly carrying the tea that was on everyone’s lips.
Maybe they were just there to watch the filming of that scene in Help where Ringo is kidnapped and he and Eleanor Bron jump into the water.
I like tea…
no…I love tea…
(paper, plastic or glass?)
Hard to believe that this is John’s supposed “fat elvis” period.
Geez…looks pretty good/slim to me!
Hair Peace,
Erik
Louise – I’m thinking the exact same thing!
Looks like some of that tea was airbrushed out of George’s left hand…
Miss Tammy likes tea too .. very much (herbal infusion Mon, who needs chamomile).
@Tammy…
go grab A Car and Henry the Horse and head to my place…
medical tea and beyond
(irish coffee…hold the coffee)
Erik – Agreed! He looks great. Although I can imagine hanging around with George long enough would make anyone think they’re fat in comparison …
There is a persistent rumour that during filming, Paul hopped from the Bahamas to Cocoa Beach, Florida for a brief visit. I’ve never seen a shred of proof, but I’ve known people who swear it happened. Maybe via boat?
@mcarp555…
I bet Paul wanted to visit Ron Jon’s Surf Shop for those cool little ‘hothats’ that they gave away for free…(no purchase required)
Cocoa Beach was the second Ron Jon’s…but the most famous
Erik: yes, totally agree. My gosh. I guess it’s all about body self-image issues because he doesn’t even look slightly chubby.
A different Jennifer: Everyone has their issues, I suppose. George thought he was too skinny, and hated having people see him without his shirt on.
I always thought George’s size was perfect for his build. His father and brother were also rather thin people, so it was probably unavoidable. But I never really look at him and think “oh he’s too skinny.” Maybe I’m weird but it always looked natural for him, whereas sometimes for John he could look a little unhealthy skinny. I guess it’s just how your built. But you’re SO RIGHT Chelsea.
I always looked at George and thought, “I wish I was that skinny”.
George was not that skinny, he was just lean and small boned. I think he had a nice little build. He had a perfect body type for a male model. They seem to like the small boned (male & female) because the cloths look better on them when photograghed.
john looks soooooooo fine in help… and may i please have some of that tea too?
