A MESSAGE FROM YOUR SPONSOR:

A few people have written to me asking me to please post more photo’s of George, John, The Beatles and less of Paul, unfortunately nothing would make me happier than to have more photo’s of those subjects but George was hardly a fan of the camera, John in reality we only had ten years tops of photo’s and the Beatles roughly eight years (give or take) so the way i work it, and will continue to work it is to try and keep it roughly balanced but the fact remains Paul is the only really active Fab left and active he is and always has been so there is a lot more to cover, besides first and foremost i’m a solo Paul fan, even above the Beatles (insert shock and gasps here) so naturally i’m going to favour him, i wish more than anything that i had current and a lot more photo’s of John and George to publish but tragically we don’t. I would like to thank the small handfull of friends here who do send me their rare photo’s that i get to publish, i cant find them all by myself so anyone sharing rare and unseen photo’s is much appreciated.

I know that Paul seems to be everywhere, at all times, but I think Ringo has been very active too for the last 20 years with recordings, tours and other appearances. I never thought that you have a shortage of John and George photos. I'm always impressed by the quantity of what I see on this blog of all 4. Yes John & George also had
"retirement" years and John left us over 28 years ago but there are thousands of photos to discover and a lot of us do it here. Oh yea-yesterday was 40 years ago that all 4 Beatles were in a recording studio together for the last time. Kind of sad but it was just great results for us all. Keep up the good work.

    Too many Paul photos?

    Impossible.

Paul has always been my favorite artist. And he's still active, making great music.

And Ringo's album are a whole lot better than they should be. The fact that I have nearly all of his albums, says more about their quality than about how much a Beatle fan I am. I'm not a collector.

I hate the Paul fans who think it's impossible to criticise Paul without being a Lennon worshipper.
I love Paul's work as a Beatle, and he was John's good friend, but I don't have to like Paul as a person. Okay?

I don't think it's impossible to criticize Paul without being a Lennon worshipper. There are many many things to criticize about Paul. He's my favorite Beatle, but I don't like a lot of his solo music. And no, you don't have to like Paul as a person. I love John's music but I have a big problem with the way he treated people including Cynthia and Julian. All of the Beatles had their faults, but my point was that there ARE quite a few Lennon worshippers out there who flat out HATE Paul, him, his music during the Beatles, his solo work, everything. I just don't think you can call yourself a true Beatles fan and HATE one of them.

What's wrong with Paul as a person? Who as a part of the Beatles and solo has bought more joy into our world? Much lesser souls have had much larger ego's and to me with as much fame and adulation he has received remains remarkably grounded. He's not a perfect deity but we should be so happy he continues to tour and exists in our universe.

There can never be too much Paul.

And it's really silly to say you don't like Paul (or John, etc.) "as a person." We're mostly fans here. We don't KNOW them personally and never will. How can you possibly, then, make assumptions about their characters based on often-faulty and biased news reports and books.

And really, all four of them had flaws. Just like all of us. And no one can survive the amount of fame they've had and not have major baggage.
