I have the pages from the mag. they have already been scanned…
so I have to go through a few stacks to find it again. I will be happy to send it to you…it will only be a matter of when…
one of the best examples of george’s sense of humor was the 331/3 promo interview LP for radio stations.
at the end of side 2:
interviewer: “well, everyone wants to know, will you four be getting back together?”
george: “actually, yes. we are”
interviewer: “really?! when ?!”
george: “well, it’s going to be on” …just then the needle runs off into the inner groove.

I was wrong. The picture is from an article in Crawdaddy Feb.1977.
I found the Circus article, too. I don’t know the issue date though…
but interestingly, there’s a pic of George at a “NYC event to celebrate the release of 33 1/3 and Best Of”…
So the timing is the same for both LP’s
(when is Mark Lewisohn going to do a solo chronicle?)
I’ll send them to Tammy if you want (or I could upload them)

and a Circus article from 1979(regarding George Harrison album)

and still a beautifully handsome face!
Is not a 1973 photo? the T shirt is from ‘Ringo’ 1973 album and George looks a bit ‘ living in the material world’ …
it could be from 1973, but this is also from the photo session that produced the UK cover of The Best of George Harrison.
I’m wondering if that car was his, or one of Eric Clapton or Jeff Beck’s toys.
