Bert Kaempfert – Oh Woman, Oh Why
Now for something a little different, the new Blog layout is allowing me to try new and fun things, so here we go with my first musical upload, if you click on the highlighted link above, you can listen in to a bizzaro cover of Paul’s ‘Oh woman, oh why’ by none other than Bert Kaemfert.
Still blows me out that the bass guitar heard on all of Elvis’s early hits ended up also being heard on the Beatles ‘Real Love’, Linda purchased this bass from Bill Blacks family, she gifted it to Paul in 1975.
There are very few instances where i’ve seen Paul ‘genuinely’ laugh, i mean real to the core laughter, most of the examples i have of that usual entail John tickling his funny bone, you can see Paul is in stitches in this photo, it’s one of the nicest expressions you can see on a face.
