U2 last week recreated the Abbey Road album cover for a charity single they are doing.

Once Linda discovered Paul wearing white gloves she decided Paul needed to stop hanging out with Michael Jackson .. SHA-MOWN!

Out this month is Tony Bennett’s new cd of duets featuring Paul and Tony singing ‘The very thought of you’.

I cant believe they didnt break off into harmony as they done at the ‘Bridge’ concert a couple of years ago, it really made the song.

Here we see Macca at work in his dungeon laboratory where we can see the results of him shrinking George down and placing him in an orb, did Paul do this every time he wanted to play the lead guitar solo on one of the Fabs songs? hmmmmmmmm.

Lilly Tomlin was recently in Aussie and was such a charming and down to earth person, i just found this pic of her in 1975 with Ringo. I must dig out the photos i have of Ringo appearing on ‘Laugh in’ in 1970.

A couple of photos taken by a fan in Nashville 1974, i sure do miss those days where Paul was really accesible to his fans, alas the times now dictate that that now cant be the case.

Poor Paul, i’m sure this is one summer he’ll want to put behind him, theres been no end of Chaos and not too much Creation, i hope Paul and Heather can sort this out quickly as it’s obviously causing Paul stress, he’s given up dying his hair and we are now entering a ‘Paul folicle phase’ known as the ‘Ginger Tom’ this is the horrendous look Pauls hair gets when he stops dying it and as the colour fades it looks for all the world like Paul has an old ginger tom cat sleeping on his head.

How HOT is this photo of George, you know sometimes you find a photo and think ‘It just does not get much better than that’.

Call me old fashioned, but there is just ‘something’ about Paul in 1967/68 that is more sublime than every other year.

I realised when talking to a fellow Beatle friend that i havent posted many of my own photos or photos of my own Beatle adventures to my blog, so i thought i’d start with some of my favorite photos. There are only three photos in this set, but they mean the world to me, when Paul toured Aussie in 1993 it was a lifelong dream come true for me, i never thought i’d see the day where i would get to see Paul and Linda in person, and for me to see Linda who i love every bit as much as Paul was amazing.

There are so many stories and photos from that tour and i’ll post more over time, the compact version of the story is that myself and three friends travelled to every concert in Australia and i also travelled on to New Zealand. From the get go we gave just as much love and attention to Linda during her time here as we did to Paul, after getting to meet us and see us down the front at every concert while they were here they got to know us a little, our stories, and appreciated our joy, excitement and love.

Just before Paul and Linda flew to New Zealand i told them that i was flying over for the show as well, they were somewhat blown out by this and were wondering if i really was going to go over, as it turned out my flight arrived just before theirs did so i hung around the airport and the door where i knew they would be exiting from, soon enough with a few fans and news crews around they walked out, i called out hello to Linda and below is the series of Photos a friend took who was standing next to me, the photos capture the moment Linda and Paul turned to see who was calling out hello and then the moment they recognised that it was me!, Linda was calling out ‘You’re here!!, You’re here!’ Paul called out ‘You made it man!’.

Not a bad memory to have huh?
