In 1993 during Paul’s Aussie tour i met a really cool girl who i became fast friends with, Sumiyo is a great artist and a HUGE Paul and Linda fan, just recently i’ve been pulling out some of Sumiyo’s drawings and scanning them up, this is a pen drawing i asked Sumiyo to do around the time of the Anthology, Sumiyo also did the drawing/painting of me i use in my avatar.
The Beatles have a new show opening in conjunction with The Cirque Du Soliel, the stills below were taken during rehearsals, i think this is a show i’m going to have to go and see, being such a strong supporter of the arts as i am.
It’s now eight years since we lost Linda, I cant believe it has been that long. I’m sure it’s no secret of my love and total admiration for Linda, I’m one of a rare breed, I’m a real living and breathing Linda ‘fan’ not just because of Paul, but in her own right. One of, if not the biggest thrills of my life were the times I got to meet Linda and speak with her, she was everything I could have hope for in a person and so much more, when you were with Linda there was a definite ‘warm’ feeling around, I cant really explain it but it was a beautiful, natural and organic feeling.
This may sound silly and inconsequential but one of the great joy’s of my life, one of the things i’m so happy i got to do was to let Linda know how much she was truely loved by so many people, i really felt it was so important to let her know what an inspiration she was to so many of us, how loved and admired she was. It makes feel good, maybe even peaceful that i used my time with her to let her know this.
Being a Linda fan was no easy time, but it was worth it. Linda was a true individual who marched to the beat of her own drum in just about every aspect of her life, from fashion to music to diet and down to morals, I learnt so much from Linda that i’m only now appreciating, i love that her fashion sense was wild, and i love that it used to make people mad, even infuriating some .. just because she wanted to be different.
If i have a role model it’s definatley Linda, be an individual, dont worry what others think of you, be kind to all living things, friends and family come first because nothing else really matters

THE BEATLES ANTHOLOGY
I have to be truthful and say this is the one that means the most to me, to be credited in The Beatles very own book means a lot, not as an ego thing, but just as some sort of recognition after being a fan for over thirty years.
Only today i recieved news about another project i helped with, this time a film .. and it looks as if my name will be up in lights! .. or at least scrolled through the credits at a million miles an hour 
i cant say too much about this project at the moment, but something very exciting is coming up for all the John fans, i’ll tell more when i’m able (Say no more .. I can say no more)
Didnt know Paul and Steve had met up as early as this.
With the release of the Beatles Capitol albums Volume 2, it’s been noted that the cover features a little rewriting of history by airbrushing out the cigarette from Ringo’s hand, some leaked artwork from Capitol was sent to me today showing the original design for the cover, Capitol wanted to be really sure not to offend anyone.
