Wow, i cant believe it but less than twenty four hours after posting about the lost Lennon footage a kind viewer sorted it out and turned up the footage, just to be certain he sent along some screen caps which i’ve posted below. I’m so happy about this, the footage was long thought to be totally lost!.

Monday, March 27th, 2006TOON TIME:
Monday, March 27th, 2006Two original paper cel’s drawn by Stephen Verona, with some hand colouring by John Lennon. A total of 240 cels were produced which comprised the artwork for a short film called ‘She Said So’, ostensibly the world’s first music video for the Beatles’ track later called ‘I Feel Fine’. Not much other info is available on this recent find, but it would be really cool to see.
The finished film was shown at the Museum of Modern Art in New York and won several awards including the CINE Golden Eagle. The original print of the film is now part of the Library of Congress archive, which is the USA’s oldest federal cultural institution.

Sunday, March 26th, 2006On July 27th 1976 John was finally issued with his Green card, there are a heap of photos from this day but so far no news or film footage has ever surfaced, a copy isnt even in the Lennon archives. At the moment a documentary film is being produced covering the years 1966 through 1976, it is based on John’s fight to stay in the U.S
if anyone has any leads or ideas where this footage may be found or located, please mail me back a.s.a.p so i can contact the movie makers and they can try to get a copy. I’ve uploaded a couple of photo’s below that were taken on this day.
FAMILY HISTORY:
Sunday, March 26th, 2006MYSTERY:
Sunday, March 26th, 2006Now here are a few photos that have me scratching my head. As far as we know John didnt really meet up with and spend any real amount of time with Yoko till 1968, but here i have a photo i recently found that shows John with Yoko in 1967, i’m pretty certain it’s 1967 as i have picks of John from the same day and he was recording with the Beatles, and Yoko certainly looks like she did in 1967, she had a distinctive wave to her hair around this time, John didnt have short hair like this again till the early 1970′s .. anyone have any thoughts on this?
