Thats one peaceful and calm looking guy, good to know he some of it despite the events to come, he looks happy and content, none of us know whats around the corner, his life was just played out on a big stage but we all have the same life to get through and live. What a guy!..and Im straight too!

James … I couldn’t agree with you more. There was a serenity & a contentment in photos taken during this period. I felt the same when I first saw the photos of (a kimono clad) John holding baby Sean in the Dakota apartment. He was the picture of joy & love and that look was one that I had never been seen before. He was leaving yesterday behind and looking forward. It is always reassuring to know that he found that long searched for happiness, even though the years would be short.

Ishie you have an excellent insightful way, I think perhaps seeing all these pictures of John here on Lizzies wonderful site often just reminds me of what John was about, or what any great artist is about, they reflect something of ourselves back I think, I think it was John who once said “an artist holds a mirror up to society/people and lets them see themselves”maybe someone else said it but it rings true, so in that way I can sense the photos showing a happy John do show us that its possible! He lived hisd life like it was art anyway I think, my point would be that although he didnt make it through to old age, he certainly demonstrated that personal peace was possible how ever long it would prove to last, maybe he didnt intend that but its part of his legacy I think and a positive way to see the shape of his short life, he came full circle, battled his demons, he still won I believe despite what happened, Good on him!

Lizzies wonderful site? I thought it was run by Greg the last time I looked.

  10. BeatleMark says:

No Bernerdo……Miss Tammy and I run the “Nothing But Sex & Drugs” comments section a few pages back. Glad to read that you enjoy!

  11. Sonia says:

The difference between Keith and John was John battled his personal demons and he won; While Keith lost his own personal battle because let us say his insecurities in life so at the end of his (Keith) life he was unhappy..

  12. LUIS ENRIQUE says:
