4th June 1963, Town Hall, Congreve st., Birmingham, Warwickshire. This is a composite photograph of four different photos. Notice that Harrison’s guitar has no headstock.

If you look at Ringo’s bass drum skin, you can see how the Ludwig decal is beginning to flake off at the “g”. It’s the start of what eventually led to the “Lu” state of the decal as is discussed on October 28th on this blog.
